Uitgast Composition Contest 2023

Composers from all over the world are invited to submit a composition of approximately 3 minutes in length, inspired by Natuurpark Lelystad. The winning composition will receive a monetary prize of €1.500, and, in addition, two honorary mentions will be awarded. The submissions are evaluated by a professional jury, on the basis of creativity, innovation, sound color and compositional quality.

The selected composition will be performed live during the Uitgast festival in natuurpark Lelystad on the 3rd of september 2023. In addition the work will be professionally recorded and broadcast.

ERASMUS TRIO

het Erasmus Trio iets bijzonders: het programma ‘De Dans’, rondom vurige tango’s van Astor Piazzolla. Daarnaast staan ook ‘Noorse Dansen’ van Edvard Grieg, Hongaarse Dansen van Johannes Brahms en enkele dansen uit de balletten van Tschaikovsky op het programma.

DUO Kirsti & Eva is een duo dat uitgaat van extremen en dat graag de uitdaging aangaat om een breed publiek kennis te laten maken met moderne en hedendaagse muziek. Het duo is een graag geziene gast in Het Muzieklokaal in Utrecht, waar ze zich thuis voelen in de unieke informele sfeer.
